HomeSchool Scribe
Press kit
HomeSchool Scribe is the homeschool planner that keeps the records for you.
Boilerplate
HomeSchool Scribe is a native iPhone and iPad app for homeschool families. Parents plan the year once, check off each day's lessons, and HomeSchool Scribe marks attendance, logs hours, calculates grades, builds transcripts and portfolios, and prepares the paperwork their state requires, with reminders before each deadline. Everything syncs privately through the family's own iCloud; the app has no accounts, no analytics, and no ads. Scribe Plus is $49.99 a year for the whole family, with a two-week free trial.
Made by Josh Hildebrandt in Villa Rica, Georgia. iOS 26 and iPadOS 26.
Writing the name
Two words, with a capital S in the middle of the first: HomeSchool Scribe. Not "Homeschool Scribe" or "HomeSchoolScribe". The subscription is Scribe Plus.
Logo
The mark is a chalk tally on a ruled line: four strokes and a diagonal, one school week, on a slate in a wooden frame. Use the color version on light grounds and the reversed version on dark grounds or photographs. Keep clear space of a quarter of the mark's height on every side; don't rotate it, recolor the chalk, change the number of strokes, or add effects.
