HomeSchool Scribe is made by one person, and every message gets read. Tell me what happened and what you expected; a screenshot with names covered is perfect. Please leave out your children's names and records unless you need them to explain the problem.

Common questions
Where is my data?
On your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account. HomeSchool Scribe has no accounts and no servers. Records ▸ Backup gives you a single JSON file with every student, lesson, grade, and record at any time.
Something didn't sync between my iPhone and iPad
Both devices need to be signed into the same iCloud account with iCloud Drive turned on for HomeSchool Scribe (Settings ▸ your name ▸ iCloud ▸ Saved to iCloud). Changes usually appear within a minute on Wi-Fi. If one device is far behind, open the app on both and leave them unlocked for a few minutes.
Are the state summaries legal advice?
No. They are plain-language planning summaries, and every one links to the statute it summarizes. Confirm requirements with your state or a homeschool legal organization before you file anything.
How do I cancel Scribe Plus?
Subscriptions are managed by the App Store: iPhone Settings ▸ your name ▸ Subscriptions ▸ HomeSchool Scribe. Your records stay readable and exportable after you cancel.
I forgot the parent PIN
The PIN protects Student Mode, not your records. Sign out of iCloud on that device and back in, or delete and reinstall HomeSchool Scribe; your records come back from iCloud. If iCloud is off, export a backup first from Records ▸ Backup.
How do I move my records to a new phone?
With iCloud on, install the app and sign in with the same Apple ID; everything arrives on its own. Without iCloud, export a backup on the old phone, send it to the new one with AirDrop, and choose "I've used HomeSchool Scribe before" during setup.
Can I request a feature?
Yes. Email what you were trying to do and what got in the way. The roadmap is short and shaped by those messages.
